Will Retailers Say “I Do” to WTC Space?

The eagerly anticipated World Trade Center transportation hub—set to open in mid-2015—will have more than just trains passing through. The concourse floor will be leased out for private and promotional events, which some experts think doesn’t bode well for the retailers that will set up shop there. Some say that a plan ahead of time to use space for such purposes could signal expectations that it’s going to be hard to find more retail tenants.
