Transactions Totaling $40 Million Propel Real Estate Finance Company Forward

Commercial real estate finance company Ladder Capital Finance LLC announced that it has closed on four commercial real estate transactions totaling more than $40 million since the start of 2010 that include its newest deal with Wal-Mart. Ladder Capital sees this as a continuation of its success in 2009, during which it completed a number of significant commercial real estate market transactions and significantly grew its portfolio of assets.

“Since we started Ladder Capital, we have been able to leverage our strong team, industry expertise, and deep network of contacts to pursue a number of great opportunities in what has been a challenging industry environment,” says Brian Harris, chief executive officer of Ladder Capital. Harris credits the company’s lean operating model for its ability to move quickly to provide the right financing to its commercial tenant clients and execute transactions in a timely manner. In 2009, the company helped pharmacy giant CVS, Wal-Mart, and several Manhattan office buildings worth $160 million get refinancing.
