Proceed with Caution When Considering Lease Renegotiation

During the recession, lease renegotiation was seen by many as a good solution for struggling tenants. Some tenants whose only options were renegotiating their leases or entering bankruptcy had to choose lease renegotiation if they wanted to stay in business. But others saw a renegotiation as the best way to save money—even if they had other solutions available to them.
