New Tenant Sues Holdover Tenant for Interference with Lease Rights

Facts: Nine months before its lease was set to expire, a New York City tenant, Lunney's Pub, Inc., became aware that the owner had found a new tenant to move in after Lunney's Pub's lease expired. Lunney's remained on the property in an attempt to secure a renewal lease from the owner and avoid closing its business before moving to a new location.
