Don't Omit Two Key Items in Commencement Date Notice

Don’t underestimate the importance of your lease’s commencement date. The lease’s expiration, the start of rent payments, and deadlines for exercising rights and options, among other key lease items, are based on that date. But it’s not always easy to set a commencement date. Sometimes it’s not a matter of simply picking one that works for you and the owner.
