Baskin-Robbins is scooping up its national footprint and plans to have at least seven new stores opening in Houston. Three new franchises recently joined Baskin-Robbins and have committed to developing the seven stores. In addition, the ice-cream shop plans continued growth in the region in 2010. Approximately 40 additional stores could be supported throughout Houston and the surrounding area, and would be scheduled to open over the next several years.

Baskin-Robbins already operates more than 6,000 stores in 35 countries. With a domestic footprint of nearly 2,700 locations the company continues to seek franchise candidates in Houston to be part of its U.S. expansion plans.
